Haycox Elementary 3rd graders put on a sweet family theater performance with the play The Magic Inside Us, directed by Ms. Holly.
Students did an amazing job remembering their lines, and their pride truly shined through during the performance.
Through this class, they learned stage and acting lingo while building the confidence to perform in front of an audience. Great job to all our young performers.

Second graders added the final touches to their Monet-inspired artwork, using watercolors to paint the sky and water with beautiful cool colors. Their paintings truly came to life as they blended shades and refined details! 💙🌊🖌️

Mr. Garcia’s class was hard at work learning new verses to a song, playing percussion (drum) instruments along with the music, and practicing how to read music. A great mix of rhythm, teamwork, and musical skills!

As part of Junior City Corps, a group of 5th graders teamed up with Mr. Eddy to help restore the raised garden beds using sanders and a drill. While they worked, Mr. Eddy shared valuable lessons about teamwork, attention to detail, and learning by watching, helping students see how these skills are just as important in the classroom as they are outdoors.
A meaningful day of learning, building, and growing together at Haycox! 🌟🌱

Good day, Haycox families! We look forward to our students’ first day of school on Wednesday, Aug 21st. Send your student to school in a uniform. Go to the Art Haycox School website for more information. A GrabNGo breakfast program will be introduced this year. TK/K students will eat breakfast at 7:40am & all other grades at 7:50am. Classes for TK/K begin at 8am and all other grades at 8:13am. If you have more than one child attending Haycox, they are welcome to enjoy breakfast at the same time.
We are so excited to see our TK/K families and students TOMORROW night from 5pm to 6pm! You'll meet and greet your new teacher, and also become familiar with our campus. By the end of the evening, your child will know exactly where their class is, and be more confident for the first day of school. See you there!
